As a filmmakers, we have had the honor of working with two Oscar-winning actors and other distinguished professionals in the industry. The founder’s independent movies have won more than 20 awards and he has personally won 12 awards directly related to his filmmaking where he has served as a producer, director, editor, and director of photography.

Our wedding hero! Brian & Team were completely awesome. My wife and I were planning an elopement wedding and moving to Australia all within 6 weeks. We didn’t want our family & friends to miss out on our BIG day so we wanted to live stream. Our coordinator found him 2 weeks before our wedding. He was able to squeeze us in to his busy schedule. He provided us with a link for live streaming along with using a drone to do some of the filming, which made the view our wedding even more amazing. At the last hour our photographers camera broke and Brian and team stepped right in and started taking pictures. He didn’t charge us anything extra and was even willing to help tweak the photos our photographer took. He kept in touch with us from the day we hired him and is still keeping in touch with us now. We have decided to even have him do our wedding photo album. We cannot express how grateful we were to have him step in in a pinch. His demeanor is poised yet fun. Brian made a terrific video of our son’s wedding. He captured all of the most important moments nicely so that we had a chance to relive this wonderful event. Brian was so professional throughout the whole process. He always answered all of my emails very promptly since day 1 and he even texted me the day of my wedding to let me know he was setting up at the church. He was everywhere capturing our special moments. I didn’t even realize that he captured so many of our moments until I looked at our wedding pictures and he was always right there. He was so stealth you could barely tell he was there. We had a photo booth and he even snuck in the camera in there without us noticing. I love that, that he not just captured the standard moments but extra moments as well. I can’t wait to see the finished video. He has a quick turn around. I have heard horror stories about videographers that hold the video hostage and a year later the bride and groom have not received anything but not with Brian. Brian was our videographer for our wedding at Coyote Hills Golf Course, Fullerton in November 2013. He made our wedding the perfect night and was the icing on th. wedding cake. I can only think of three words to describe what he did for us, “wow,” “Wow,” and “WOW!” He arrived early, stayed late, and gave us everything we asked for, and so much more. He captured the mood of the night perfectly, and I have to say, he is a “must-have” at any big event. I was planning the event from Northern California and he was so flexible with meetings and responded to emails so quickly, I was truly impressed. He was so considerate and truly cared about making the perfect video for us. He made a video montage with music (our first-dance song) and separate videos of the ceremony and reception. I had been looking for a videographer for my wedding, and I had originally only wanted the raw footage, but Brian went above and beyond. He did an edit of overall, one of the ceremony, and one for the reception. He did an amazing job, everyone in my family loved the videos! He was very quick to respond, and answer any questions. I hired Brian to film my niece’s wedding and reception on September 21st. He was professional from day one. He arrived at the wedding site early to set up and stayed late during the reception to be sure to get lots of footage. After he finished putting the videos together, I had several special requests that weren’t even in the original contract. He went above and beyond what he had to do to fulfill those requests. I’m writing a review for our experience with Brian Barsuglia and his photography and videography services at my wedding back in February of this year.  I cannot say enough positive things about working with Brian.  From the moment we met him, we knew he was the right fit for us.  He is a super nice guy and did a fantastic job photographing our special day as well as our engagement photos.  He was very responsive, has a great eye for capturing beautiful moments and totally professional.  He was really easy to work with and was quite affordable for someone of his high caliber and talent.  I would highly recommend using his services for any occasion.  In fact, we have continued to use Brian for other occasions, most recently, my pregnancy photos and will use him to take photos of our new baby.  We have forged a great partnership with Brian and will have him capture all our special moments going forward.  BTW, our wedding video and photographs turned out awesome.  He seriously got every imaginable shot possible and we loved our video too!! -Ai-Lang (Bride) as posted on Yelp!

Brian from SoCal Entertainment made our wedding video in 2003. He was so good that I barely noticed him taking video throughout the whole event. Our video is so well put together with music, special effects, and lots of extra touches. Brian shot our engagement pictures as well as our wedding photography. I am so impressed with the work he did; it went above and beyond any of my expectations. Guests, including both our mothers, commented on how impressed they were with him. He took so many pictures throughout the day, yet it never felt like we had a photographer there–it was really natural. Brian has a great personality, he even made my husband feel comfortable with all of the pictures. He photographed at the church, at an off-site location in between, and at the reception. Words can not even tell you how pleasantly and very happy with our Photographer Brian Barsuglia. My wife and I loved how he made sure our day was about us and the moment was great. From the time he arrived, he was either taking photos of the site we were being married at to pre ceremony photos of the groom, groomsmen, the bride and her girls. he and his team were there through every step of the day and would even when someone wanted to take a picture with their camera, Brian would step in take their camera and asked them to get into the picture. We looked at several potential photographers doing the bridal & wedding expo shuffle in the months leading up to the big day.  But for the price/quality ratio, I felt Brian was the best deal.  He didn’t even have a booth at one of those hotel expos, I got his info from a friend whose wedding was shot back in the days when they actually used film (early 2000’s). Needless to say, Brian uses high end digital stuff now & gave us thousands of great pics to choose from when making our albums. We did the engagement pics near his studio in Huntington Beach.  I’m still amazed at how good the pics by the HB Pier of my then fiancée & I look. We have a giant framed print in our room standing in front of the Pacific w/super clarity.  When we included several of those shots in our reception slide show, you could literally hear the oohs & aahs. We also decided to go w/him because of the combo- package deal of making a dvd of the ceremony & reception hi-lights. Brian & his apprentice were totally cool to work with staying an hour later than in the contract for no extra charge since the reception hall was late w/dinner etc. (Hey, these things happen! : ) I’ve been to a lot of weddings & I can say I’ve never seen a photographer handle getting all the extended family shots after the ceremony w/the bride & groom as well as Brian. (there never seems to be enough time, Uncle Larry seems to have wandered off etc) This dude was able in the 15 mins the church gave us to get both sides of extend fam & wedding party posed & notice right away if someone was blinking & re-shoot it on the fly while doing some pretty cool artistic things to boot. Brian (SoCal Entertainment & Media) is a gem! I put an SOS out on Thumbtack for someone to videotape my son’s wedding on a very limited budget. He answered the SOS and my prayers! His price was so reasonable compared to others I had researched and I knew immediately upon speaking with him that he really cared about his work and capturing the events of the wedding day by producing a quality product! It wasn’t just about the money! At a very minimal rate increase, Brian was at my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding from start to the very end with them driving off in the limo! He arrived at 1:30pm and left at 11:30pm! We had the preliminary videos within 6 weeks of the wedding date! We wanted a few clips added, which he did quickly, and then he posted the videos to his password protected website for us to share with family and friends. He also provided me with all the raw footage which other companies I had spoken to, were hesitant to do. Just recently (6 months after the wedding – he could have ignored me but he didn’t), I bothered him to ask about a few still shots of some events that had occurred after the photographer left. He graciously got the 8-10 still shots to me within 24 hours as I was in a time crunch. Brian was fantastic! All of the videographers I researched were way out of our price range for our wedding in Costa Mesa. I was about ready to just ask a relative to record our wedding on a camcorder when I heard about Thumbtack. Brian contacted me immediately and said he could film our wedding. I was shocked when he agreed to film the wedding for such an extremely affordable rate. Brian’s affordable rate in no way sacrificed any quality or professionalism. He met with me before the wedding to ask questions about details and about my expectations. On the day of the wedding, he was early, professional, and I don’t even remember seeing him during the ceremony or reception because he just blended into the background and captured every moment perfectly. He had a great rapport with our photographer and he always made sure to work with him to make sure both the photos and videos came out well. Even when our timeline ended up running a little longer than expected, Brian agreed to stay a little longer at no charge. Only a few months after the wedding, Brian sent us links to the highlights, ceremony, and reception. He asked if my husband and I wanted any changes to make sure we were extremely satisfied with the videos. After making a few requests, Brian made all of the changes in a timely manner.
